Our facility

It has been over a year since we opened Violet dermatology clinic in Kodaira. The growth of the clinic is felt each time we welcomes a patient, from children to the elderly, and international patients.
Dr. Kawakami graduated from Nippon Medical University and received an M.D. Degree.
After obtaining the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certificate (a certificate to work in the United States as a medical doctor), he chose to train in Japan in the field of dermatology.
Working in the metropolitan Shinjuku area at Tokyo Medical University,he engaged in the well-rounded dermatological treatment of Japanese and international patients from severe systemic inflammatory diseases and skin cancers to viral warts and acne. In Shinjuku, he had many opportunities to work with both English and Japanese speaking patients. During the time of his practice, he learned the importance of accurately recognizing a patient’s condition and delivering appropriate treatment options available,considering each individual patient’s background as well as the latest, up-to-date medical knowledge.
He specializes in patients with psoriasis, palmoplatar pustulosis, hair loss, and genetic skin diseases.
He is proficient in English, and will warmly welcome patients having difficulty communicating in Japanese.
